Fireflies by Owl City….what does it mean to you?
Here’s my personal interpretation, and as far as I was able to find out I have a completely original view of this song. Shared it with my family, blew their minds…So here goes.

"You would not believe your eyes, if ten million fireflies, lit up the world as I fell asleep."

Okay, I’m going to start with one very important metaphors which will be backed up throughout the song. Sleep in this song is a metaphor for death. From there I hypothesize that the fireflies are either angels, or truth/answers, or both.

"Cause they’d fill the open air, and leave teardrops everywhere. You’d think me rude but I would just stand and stare."

They’d fill the emptiness of knowledge that I previously mentioned the fireflies possibly representing, and perhaps the tears are tears of joy, or maybe sorrow. Could be either, but I’m going with joy, and I will back that stance up later.

"I’d like to make myself believe that the Earth turns slowly."

This means that he’d like to believe that he has more time than he really does on this earth.

"It’s hard to say that I’d rather stay awake when I’m asleep. Cause everything is never as it seems."

This basically means, how do you know if you’d be happier dead, since there is no way to communicate between living and dead."

"Cause I’d get a thousand hugs, from ten thousand lightning bugs, as they try to teach me how to dance."

Again, the lightning bugs may be angels greeting you into heaven, and perhaps teaching you how to fly or something along those lines. The "teach you how to dance" lyric is the only one in this entire song that I have doubts about, but oh well.

"A foxtrot above my head, a sock hop beneath my bed, a disco ball is just hanging by a thread."

I personally think that foxtrot and sock hop refer to heaven and hell, but my mom insists they have something to do with a word starting with "f" and "s", since that’s generally what those words stand for or something. The disco ball is both a metaphor for the world, and your own life, both of which are in delicate balance, and both of which could be ended at any moment.

then there’s the refrain again, and then…

"Please leave my door open just a crack (please take me away from here), cause I feel like such an insomniac (please take me away from here)."

Again, sleep is a metaphor for death throughout this song. He wants the door open because he doesn’t feel ready to die, he wants to stay "awake". Of course, the aside of "please take me away from here" is the inner desire to move on, and to "fall asleep". He wants to go on to heaven, but fights it anyway.

"Why do I tire of counting sheep (please take me away from here), when I’m much too tired to fall asleep."

He is tired of the day to day life of "counting sheep", yet even though he’s getting old and bored with life he feels like he’s not ready to die, even though he can feel it coming. He is asking the question of why we hold more dearly to life as we get older, only to get inevitably closer and closer to death.

"To ten million fireflies, I’m weird cause I hate goodbye’s. I got misty eyes as they said farewell."

The "angels" don’t understand why he wouldn’t want to go to heaven, or perhaps don’t understand why he’s so sad when someone dies. They leave without him (perhaps this is inspired by a close call of his own or by the death of someone else), and he’s sad to see them go.

"But I’ll know where several are, if my dreams get real bizarre, cause I saved a few and I keep them in a jar."

I lied above, this is the second part of the song that I don’t really know what it could mean. I suppose if I had to guess, I’d say that he’s keeping memories or something along those lines.

The rest is just he refrain repeating, with exception to the last like saying "cause my dreams are bursting at the seams." which to mean is either a little arrogant, or he’s referring to heaven again, but heaven bursting at the seams? Nah, I think he’s just referring to the little dreams and ideas we all have constantly throughout our lives.

So there’s my take on this song, that it’s about death and dying.

The best response gets the "best answer" award, as per usual.

Good luck, and hope you all like my interpretation. Do tell me if anyone found similar ideas elsewhere, but I’m pretty sure this is original.

I think the neat thing about songs is that it can mean whatever you want it to mean. Sure, the artist might have meant this line to mean something specific, but what’s nice is that you can hear it and it means something different to you, and another person can hear it and have it mean something totally different than both of you, etc. Interpretation is a highly personal thing. I usually don’t try to analyze pop songs lyrically, but you’ve definitely made me think about this one, and I enjoyed reading your take on it – something I’ve never considered.

What is the best laptop for me?
I’m a college student, and I’m thinking about getting a different laptop. At the moment, I have an HP Pavilion dv6-1030us Entertainment Notebook PC, and it’s just too big and bulky for my needs. Sure, it runs okay (though it crashes on occasion; screw you, Windows Vista!), but it’s a pain to lug around. I want a laptop that will run games, music and DVDs fine, but I don’t want another monster like this. Besides, the keys seem fragile and my touchpad is a total failure. My clicky button broke, and this thing isn’t even a year old. :( I want something that is light, durable and runs well, I guess I’m saying. Perhaps a Macbook? Please help, thanks.

You are going to have a hard time running games well on a laptop, but a midrange one should be decent enough at low setting. Nonetheless, you are going to want to look for a midrange Dell, Compaq, or Toshiba. HP seems notorious for low quality pcs and laptops.

I would avoid the macs since you want to play games and Macs will not be able to, even with boot camp (dual boot = slow performance). The macbook would be durable, but probably isn’t worth the hassle of switching away from Windows and shelling out an extra 400-1000 dollars.

Plot: Bud Corliss is an ambitious college student with big plans for himself and an heiress, Dorothy Kingship. But then Dorothy goes and gets herself pregnant. It’s his child, too, of course; but this ruins everything. Her moralistic father will disown her and will certainly never accept him. It seems he’s trapped. Bud’s mother knows something is troubling her son, but he won’t talk to her about it. All she knows is that Bud doesn’t want to turn out like his father, with holes in his shoes. He doesn’t have to worry. As his mother says, when he turns his mind to something, he does it. Unknown to her, his thoughts have turned to murder.

What could this dream mean?
Well I have this reoccuring dream, only it’s not exactly reoccuring because the same exact thing doesn’t always happen. its more like a continuation. i have people i know in it that sometimes help me with things like where to go wheres the food or kill zombies.

anyways in the firsxt weird dream(ive had it for a couple months) i meet this guy. now ive never seen anyone in my life ever before that looks like him its like my mind created him but hes very hot. and i fall for him but he dies. then in my later dreamsi visit him because the dead sometimes gather somewhere so loved ones who open their heart and soul and mind can visit them.

hes a bad boy, a player, hot, has tattoos, fun, funny, but generally seems to care about me. and whenever i visit he doesnt seem suprised and always is with a friend usually guy and leaves him to hang out with me. and sometimes we do end up kissing. sometimes little things about him change like what hes wearing or his hair but its always the same guy.

last night i dreamt that i was at school then rihanna kidnapped me tried to kill, strapped a bomb on both of us but my dad saved me barely on time but i had to tell him what to do. i told her we were friend but i thought she was crazy! then the dead was at the baseball field but i couldnt kill the zombies this time so i just visited him in the food court at the mall where people already kill zombies so i just killed one. he makes me a little angry in the dream somethimes. this time i left mad because a lady disturbed us but when i tried to find him i woke up. it’s really weird and i feel like my dream self is attached to this fictional character ive never seen and its driving me insane. please help. :)
that’s interesting. i got dumped around november and though december i fought my lonely feelings. i finally overcame it or so i thought and was pretty cheerful even. although i cry when i see him with his new girl. so maybe my subconsious is lonely and wanted someone to keep me company. what if its my gaurdian angel? i usually dont by into dream stuff but i keep visiting him. its not a daily thing but its been happening for awhile. i feel like something or my mind is telling me something. i dont know… but thats interesting about someone entering my dream. my family said i never went through anything traumatizing although i might have only they didnt know.
I think each dream has little messages because of what happens, like bombs or getting lost might signify different feelings get at times I guess. But its weird when I’m with this guy I seem so content and tranquil, but he’s dead. i find it sick and strange. is that even normal? my brain creating a dead boyfriend for my lonely soul.

Maybe this "Guy" could be someone you will meet in the near future.I had the same type of dreams and I met a guy who had the personality like the guy i was dreaming about, but he didnt look like him. But when i actually started hanging out with him he started to look like the guy in my dreams. And now were engaged soo… maybe thts how ur dream guy could be… same personality,,different looks

| Jan 31, 2010

ok im just going to say the boy first maybe just maybe its a person who’s entering your dream on his own will…..or your mind thinks your lonely and made a fictional character to keep you happy… on to the rest ask you family if you ever had a traumatizing experience that could be causing the dreams…

Who should I be mad at??(Step-parent question)?
Okay, so,I’m 15, my mother has promised me a puppy for two years, and today is christmas eve.

She bought me a puppy (Small chihuahua) from a breeder, and my stepdad said no, when she was on her way to pick my dog up.

That was pretty much my one big present for the year, and I talked to my stepdad about it, to see why he was saying no.

At first he said it was because he didnt think i’m responsible enough, so I told him everything i had researched about the pups, how they have to go out every 2-3 hours, how I wont make him dogsit, as i plan to take the puppy with me when i go out.

Then it was my grades, which i brought up from C’s last year to all A’s and B’s except one D(Algebra), and then he went on to say that my skin condition would worsen from having a dog. (Psoriasis, which it wont, i googled it).

Then it was because we already have three cats, i explained those are mostly my mom’s cats, they dont go in my room, i want a puppy that will hang out with me.

It seems like he’s coming up with more and more excuses for me to not get one. Anyways, he’s been my stepdad my whole life, pretty much.

Him and my mom have a daughter who’s in fostercare, and the main reason i wanted the puppy is because i feel SO alone without my sister, and i’ve been battling anxiety for the past year and a half. I’m homeschooled, and while he’s at work and my mom’s out doing whatever, i get lonely, and i have alot of friends, but still, the dog would be a nice companion. He makes fun of my anxiety, so i cant say to him thats why i want it.

He’s never really liked me, when i was young he would tell my mom to give me to my bio-father all the time. My mom sides with him EVERY damn time we disagree over something.

Should i be mad at my mother for always siding with him, or him for being unreasonable?

Btw- Q- I bought him 200 dollar jogging shoes and new soles for christmas, because he asked for them and i had the money saved, should i return those and just get him something cheap because he’s being so mean?

Better yet, return the shoes WITHOUT the box, tell them something happened to it and you’re sorry, but you need to return them. Then, write a note in the box that says something like, I spent the money on counseling for my anxiety that you give me and so I had to return the favor. Too bad I didn’t get that dog huh? Wrap it up, put it under the tree, and make sure it has a KICK ASS bow on it. Then, take a picture of his face while he’s opening AND after. THAT will be the best Christmas present EVER! Trust me.

i would if i was u but now is christmas eve it bit to late as shops are closed and if no pressie for him he get mad more tell him it up to u if u want a dog or not tell your mum that your daughter u she help u not him all the time if he no like tell get out find other women
maggy | Dec 24, 2009

Wow that is a messed up situation. Definately be mad at both of them. 1- She promised to get it for you, and then didn’t because he said so. That is bull. If you are going to promise something you shouldn’t go back on your word. 2- It does sound like he is trying to find any excuse for you not to be able to have the puppy. That is just unfair of him. He won’t have to do anything to take care of it, so honestly why is he so against it? 3- Yes, return the gift and get him something cheap. Like you say, he hasn’t treated you fairly or liked you and he doesn’t care what you want, so why should he get what he wants? Especially that expensive…

This may seem like a negative response, but I’m looking at it from a by-standers point of view and the whole thing is just not fair for you. I’m sorry he’s such a jerk and that your mom sides with him every time. Maybe they will surprise you with the puppy or something…hopefully. Anyways, try and have a great Christmas. =)
Beth | Dec 24, 2009

Well, I’m a daughter, a mother, and a step-mother. So I’ll try to put some perspective on this. It does sound like he’s being unreasonable about this, especially if your mother was already on her way to get the puppy for you. They should have been in agreement before she ever went to get the dog. As for his reasons for not wanting you to have the dog, it sounds like he’s not telling you the real reason which is probably that he’s worried he’s going to end up having to pay for everything: dog food, grooming, vet bills, etc.

Your mother sides with him because the two of them are both the parents and they have to be united even when they don’t always agree. My husband and I don’t always agree where my step-daughter is concerned but in front of her we show a united front and then when we are alone we discuss it and come to an agreement that works for both of us.

I would approach both of them if I were you, and say something along the lines of "I’ve been trying really hard to show you that I’m responsible by doing the research about having a puppy. I’ve been getting better grades than I was, and I’m trying to do more around the house." Explain that you understand that pets are expensive, but that you really feel you’re ready for a dog of your own so you can show them exactly how capable you are.

I understand why you’re mad. I don’t blame you at all. However, I don’t think returning his present is going to show him how mature you are, or make you feel any better for that matter. Be the better person here and give him what you originally bought for him. Hopefully he’ll see how hard you’re trying and change his mind.

Good luck, hon!
MeggiesMama | Dec 24, 2009

You managed to save $200 and spent it on a pair of shoes for your stepdad? That shows an extreme amount of responsibility for a 15-year old right there. Write your parents a letter, similar to what you wrote here for us. Leave it for them on their bed or somewhere. They both need to know exactly how you feel, and they definitely need to know that you feel like your stepdad doesn’t care for you. Maybe something will change if they read your honest, from-the-heart words. Good luck to you.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse?
Regardless of whether you’re Christian, Muslim, Atheist, Pagan, believer in the Flying Spagetti Monster or otherwise.. Everyone has heard (at least as far as I am aware), of the Four Horsemen.

Neither good, nor evil, they are supposedly going to ride on the apocalypse, dooming the disbelievers etc etc..

That said, they are a damned cool idea if you ask me.. They take everything Angels are said to be, then spit on it with something totally against that.

So my question isn’t so much religious, as curious.

Which do you think is the coolest of the Horsemen? War, Pestilence, Famine or… Of course, Death? (But then, there have also been other variations on the Horsemen, namely Strife and Conquest, so those could be included too I guess lol)
Lol, how’d you guess :P . Yes I have been playing Darksiders.

Bloody hard game though…
As a Pagan, I do not believe in the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

As for the idea of them being cool? Sure.. They bring death, misery and the like… But hell, it happens every day now and hardly anyone (in truth..) breaks a tear over it.

The question is not saying "Do you find the idea of death, war famine or pestilence" cool, more the personality of it attributed to a singular angel.

For instance, I find the Joker cool, along with Sabertooth, pyro or other supervillains who generally harm many people in the comics. The point is, I don’t find their homicidal tendancies cool, but the character.

We should name them. Harry Barry Garry and Lucky hahahaha. Death is the coolest

The four horsemen are metaphorical for the ways in which we humans will destroy our selves. There is nothing cool about retarded self destruction….

I highly doubt anyone really believes god is going to literally send angelic horsemen to slaughter humans….
tripageous | Jan 08, 2010

I don’t think any of them are "cool". They are a result of sin, and the rejection of God’s Salvation through Jesus Christ. The fact that they exist is testimony to our rejection of God. There is nothing "cool" about that.

All of them bring pain, suffering, and death to the human race. All of them are a direct result of our wickedness and sin. There is nothing "Cool" about that.
Evangelist Paul | Jan 08, 2010

since pestilence is synonymous with infection, and i associate infection with zombies n stuff, then i think hed be prety crazy. war would be the one who comes first, eventually leading on to the others. and death will be the one taking its toll on those left over from the other horsemen. so yaa

Story about what i'm going through right now… rate please?
This story seems to be the only thing making me happy right now. There are a few aspects in my life that I like and I hold on to the feelings, but they normally aren’t real. Here’s the beginning… I started from here because this is how everything began. I’m a young and inexperienced writer. Thanks for the opinions.

"Dude, pass it, pass it!" I giggled with uncontrollable laughter. "I am, just just…" She takes a few big hits and passes it to me. "Okay watch this guys." I straighten myself up and then stop to look at the ladder. "Oh… my… lord…" I whisper. I hop up and run with the apple. "Don’t drop it man!" Kyley yells. Demi hops up and pokes her head out of the shed to look where i’ve gone. "hahaha!" Tasha bursts into laughed and falls to the floor. Kyley joins her in harmony. Demi, my better friend of the group, stares at me in awe as I slowly hump the ladder. "What are you dooooing?" Demi blinks. We’ve been best friends since we were 10 and now we’re all 16. These two girls who now adore me used to be my biggest enemies before I conformed. Before I started to become sick of my previous lonely life. My best friend, Demi, conformed before I did and became best friends with the "leader" of this group, Kyley. Kyley has it all. She is sexy, funny, drama-free, has guys falling head over heels for her and even girls, and is definately everyones favorite party girl. After taking a few more hits, we finally got the call. "He’s picking us up?" Tasha becomes serious and directs her attention to Kyley. "Yeah, I don’t got any money but he’s gonna’ have to live with it." She laughs. We all join her. "Is he giving us a ride back, and will there be alcohol?" I ask in the same cool tone as them. "I don’t know man, we might have to sleep over. Just go with it." She shrugs, grabbing the apple out of Demis hand. Just go with it. I took that advice to heart. A little later he eventually did come by and smoked us up on the way to his house. All night they tried "hooking me up" with him but I refused for some reason. I think it was because the bit of morals that I had placed deep down inside my heart still triggered when I knew something was really wrong. Later when we toked again, I thought back to just a few months ago. My innocent days.

I tapped my wooden and overused pencil during class discussion. It was about time to get some more… actually now that I think of it, I do need to do a bit of shopping. The bell rings to go to last hour. Wonderful… a class full of guys who wouldn’t give me a second look. "Oh, Jaden." Mr. Shell calls to me. "Yeah?" I ask very quietly, waiting for the other students to make their escape. "Your grades are looking really good… your dad emailed me and he’ll be pretty pleased with your progress." "Awesome." I smiled. I really was happy, this year was the first year my grades were really good. I wanted to get into college and possibly major in psychology or sociology. When I got into gym as my first day in the sophomore class, I avoided the creepy senior who was rumored to have raped a girl. I was put in his senior class by mistake and he wouldn’t stop touching me. I quickly hurried over to the sophomore teacher and told her I was new. Later on I ended up seeing my old time friend ryan. "Hey! How are you?" He asked me. "Good…" I was a pretty shy person, it took alot for me to open up to people. Later on the boys that I had met wore themselves out with telling me how shy I was, I just couldn’t bring myself to think of anything. That was my problem with everyone. Eventually they became bored with me and ventured off, leaving me by myself to run alone. Alone… heh. I was used to being alone in most of my classes. I think this was actually the day it all triggered with me. I didn’t plan it, it just happened right when my mom picked me up from school and took me back to the house. When she left to go back to her shop, I grabbed a bottle of flavored water, drank half, then poured the other half with whiskey. From that day on, my life changed forever. I wasn’t known as quiet and introverted Jade… starting the next day, I would be known as desirable and spontanuous Jaden.

I’d rate it a 5 or 6. It is good, a bit confusing in the second paragraph.

Also, nobody changes in one day.. I’m not so sure that going home and drinking some whiskey makes you any different the next day at school… I know such things wouldn’t change my life. You say it’s sort of about you.. so why would you think drugs have changed you so much? -.-

I’m a bit annoyed by it actually, but I do like it and it was written okay.

Its okay, but you are all over the place. I have no idea what a "hit" is based on your description. I don’t know, and maybe I don’t want to know, what they are doing to that ladder. I liked your description of Kyley, but I think you could go deeper and give the reader a little more, something that leads more into the story since it seems, to me, like Kyley is the leader of some cult like group. I could be wrong, but for me that is what you have created. I don’t like the part where she is in class. That is way to confusing. You need to focus on one topic and explore it a little. First, she talks to her teacher about her grades. Well I had no idea she was struggling with that class. Then she talks about boys not looking at her in her next class and I don’t know what class that is or why boys don’t notice her. So just get a little deeper into this story and try not to rush things. You have all the time and paper, or computer memory, to make this story come alive.

Interesting read – and fun. right now I’d give it about a 6. It reminds me of friends I had way back when, a moment when life is still pretty carefree. Keep going in that vein, but you might want to fictionalize it a little. For instance, you talk about the characters like they are very dear friends, which is awesome, but the reader isn’t going to know them. So you should find a way to introduce them. Maybe start with the main character getting high with the best friend and slowly the other friends join them?

It’s also a good idea to set the scene a little. Where are they hanging out? Why is there an apple involved? What are they trying to do with the ladder? It’s a little like coming into the middle of the story for the reader and that is confusing. It’s just some stuff to think about when you put it through another draft.

You might want to start with the second part because it just feels a little wonky to go back and forth. It’d be interesting to start with that moment when she puts the whiskey in her water, or show the events which led up to the character doing so.

Good luck with it, sounds really good!

um…i wouldn’t read it mainly because in two paragraphs you just completely summed up the problems with the youth in america: drugs, alcohol, wanting to fit in, wanting to get good grades.

I’ve never used drugs because it wasn’t important to me and it’s a sign of weakness. I don’t shoot for straight A’s because it only proves you know how to kiss your teachers ass as oppose to learning things that you might actually need and use. I was alone for most of my high school days because everyone was just so superficial and i guess i felt i was better than them, which is a bad thing to say but whatever. I’m turning out just fine.

Please give me your opinion of the logic behind this Letter to the Editor of 2/1/10. I couldn't believe it!?
I can’t attach the letter, so I’ll accurately duplicate it here. It is from the Cincinnati Enquirer.

"I can hardly breathe after all of the horrifying news this past month: Possessing a super-majority, the Democrats could still not pass cap-and-trade or health care. The only beacon of hope in the world of talk radio has gone bankrupt. The state of Massachusetts, arguably the most progressive in the nation, has elected a Republican to replace the long-loved lion. What were those voters thinking?
How can the elite properly educate the ignorant masses so that this does not happen again? Don’t these sheep realize that President Obama and this Congress just want to care for and nurture us? Just what is this message of liberty and person responsibility? Why do so many believe in such nonsense? If I say I believe and switch sides, will I still get my check?"

(Signature and residence deleted so no one will attempt to harass the writer of this letter)

So, are you likewise shocked?
Is this the logic behind most Liberal thinking?

You do realize that there is sarcasm as well as honest beliefs in this letter, right?

I don’t want care and nurturing, I am not an infant.

It is no surprise at all, sheep like to live in an enclosed and safe pen.

Do you enjoy catching the slight scent of White Shoulders perfume on a woman, in public?
I really want to know if more people don’t, or more people do enjoy the scent of White Shoulders. But I want hard evidence. Please do not answer, "I think most people…"

"Best Answer" will go to whoever collects the actual opinions of a few people, and posts their results. Do people like some perfume, but not White Shoulders? No perfume? Like some, and that one? Especially like White Shoulders?

I do not want responses about issues I am not asking about. Please do not talk about how much perfume a woman should wear. Assume we are talking about a very mild application, such that you couldn’t smell it at all more than two feet away. And I don’t want to hear about allergies, either. One of the reasons for asking about White Shoulders is because it seems to be one of the least allergenic perfumes. For those who aren’t familiar, it is considered a classic floral, and includes gardenia, lilac, amber, oakmoss, and jasmine in its scent.
.
Thanks Meg! That is the kind of thing I am looking for. And now that you gave me your answer, I see that I need to add, that I’d like to know if these are women or men for each answer.

I asked the people in my office and 1 person likes White Shoulders, 2 don’t and 3 don’t know or can’t remember what it smells like.
Of those same people, four like to smell a little bit of perfume or cologne, 1 said it doesn’t matter and 1 doesn’t like to smell perfume at all.

Is that what you were looking for?

I had one of the best summers of my life wearing "White Shoulders". Thanks for reminding me, will try it again….
Debbie R | Jun 08, 2007

I don’t enjoy white shoulders personally for myself. There are alot of older women love it, so it’s often associated with them. Also, there are so many perfumes on the market. It’s probably overlooked, but there are those perfumes like it that have a steady fan base.
Rebecca | Jun 08, 2007

I’m a female and I really don’t care to smell White Shoulders,it doesn’t catch my attention at all.I prefer to smell a man with Cool Waters for men.Now that is nice…

i love white shoulders. i have had people to stop me in public and ask what scent i am wearing. men and women, different strokes for different folks!!.

Funniest to not
Abbott/Costello
Three Stooges
Laurel/Hardy
Chaplin
Marx Bros.
TroyR | Nov 24, 2009

Chaplin wasn’t that funny but revolutionary laureL and Hardy are the masters of comedy. I will laugh for hours with just one look at the camera from Oliver!!!!!! A/c BORING! 3stooges only good if i’m in the mood for pies and slap stick. MARX bros are pure CR*P. you forgot to mention the little rascals/our gang. I love them just one notch below L&H because I hate the later years with alfalfa and grown up spanky! they started to do song and dance in ball rooms!! the series was about showing poor kids doing what they do. not rich kids dancing.

Mental problems/Panic/Anxious feelings NEED HELP PLEASE!?
Hi there. Recently I have been getting some very horrible mental feelings and thoughts. Over the past few weeks I have been getting what I would call Panic attacks, where I feel I cant breathe, and I am going to die ect, I can sort of deal with these, but their is something else that is really getting to me. Recently I have been getting strong feelings of "Losing sense of reality" For instance, i’d be walking down the street, and then i’d just get horrible feelings, and I’d feel as if im coming apart from reality, and I question everything around me, and wonder if I am real or if its all a dream ect, they are some quite horrible thoughts, and can leave me feeling very confused and startled, and also scared. And can physically leave my body feeling very odd, especially if im walking and getting those feelings I get horrible feelings in my legs and find it hard to walk. Im not overweight or anything like that, im quite skinny.

I did smoke alot of weed for around 6 months, but havnt touched it in about 2 months. I also once smoked a small dosage of "Salvia Divinorum" which I had a very bad trip with, which brought on VERY horrible anxious feelings and a panic attack while smoking it and for the rest of that night, I also felt paresthesia whenever I touched anything, like everything felt numb and tingly at the time. I then felt that for the next few days.

Can sombody please try and explain what is going on with me at the moment, and give me some serious advice? I’m really quite scared about all this. Thanks alot.

go smoke somemore it will help alot.. but i also suggest acid if your lucky you will trip balls for about 12 hours or more
